Where and How it all Began

My amateur blogging skill began with the workshop-seminar delivered by Master Blogger Abe Olandres sponsored by the Fur Die Freiheit – Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Liberal Politics at their office in Makati City. For a number of times I have tried to start my own blogsite but for different reasons and different circumstances, I just could not do it.

In my personal evaluation of things, I believe I needed to write regularly if I wish to produce an article worthy of publication again (the last time I did was in 2004 for an academic journalin Political Science). I would start with one-page drafts and proposals but after being swamped with work and travel orders, I would lose the momentum I painstakingly built for days.

And so it Begins…

I’m officially starting my blog. I’m still experimenting with everything of course — themes, pictures, presentations, even my blog title and subheadings. All these, at least for now, remain ephemeral and are at the mercy of my whimsical appetite for exploring new things.

In the meantime, I hope you join me in my journey. I will be offering my insights, observations, reactions, even unsolicited advice related to the burning political issues of the day.
